DP-03 pans don't function.

Hi all. I just picked up a new DP-03, and the pan doens't seem to work on any of the channels- neither on the pre-recorded demo nor anything I lay down. I'll pro'ly take it back to GC and exchange it, but I though I'd ask here first, to see if anyone else has had the same experience.
