MS-16 AQ-65 DP-24 MTS-30
Hello all,
Long time reader, first time poster. Please forgive any stumbles in my posting etiquette or conventions...

I'm trying to get my DP-24 to chase my MS-16 tape machine.

I can't find any commands or options to get the DP-24 to chase ANYTHING. Is this baked into the cake? Is the DP-24 only capable of using its internal clock?

I also own an MTS-30 and am totally fine to dedicate a track of the MS-16 for recording and playing back any possible code that the DP can follow, but as of yet I cant find the commands.

Does anyone have any suggestions or know of any software updates, tricks or fixes??

I'm very much primarily an analog kinda guy, but once in a while the extra digital tracks would help with a project.

Thanks in advance!

Confirming that you have an actual DP-24 (with physical MIDI connectors) and not the DP24SD, there is a MIDI menu that you can access and change parameters.

I don't have the MIDI version but I'm pretty sure you can only slave MIDI Machine Controls like start & stop, but not the clock. Even if you use the non-MIDI version with an external sync box, you'd have the same problem; the DP machine has to be the master clock.

The OM's MIDI section and appendix has the various configuration options available and the MIDI messages that can control of the DP-24.
