Hello all! I'm new to the group but have been using my DP-24 for years. Here's my question: Whenever I burn a CD of a master and put the CD into my computer to play, somehow a random song name, artist and album will be attached. With my latest CD created, the created song title was "Country Boy" and the artist name was Matt Greenwell and Clare Whitmore. I have no idea who these people are and how this happens, and the previous CD I burned was titled with Japanese characters! Is there a way to change this? Thanks... Phil

Hi Phil, and welcome! What you're experiencing has nothing to do with the CD you burnt, but it's your media player trying to look online what this 'unknown' CD is. So all it knows (from reading the disk info) is the number of songs and their length and 'matches' this with a very similar CD from an online database. In this case your CD was very close or the same in track number and length with the Country Boy one...

The only way to change this is to stop your media player from looking online for metadata.

Thanks. Yeah, I just figured that the other night when I tried making a better mix. Same song but I noticed the computer was thinking when I inserted the cd.
On another note, I really enjoy working with this but I now realize I should have went with the 32.
