Hi - I have searched the forums but cannot find this problem nor how to address it. I have had no problems since purchase until yesterday. I had an error message (can't remember what precisely) but for the first time had to disconnect the power source to my DP-24SD to resolve it - not even the off switch would function. It re-started seemingly ok, but anxious to save my work in case something catastrophic happened I connected the USB cable, switched to USB from the menu and hit F2 to connect. I get the message USB connected on the TASCAM but cannot see anything on Finder. Never had this problem before. I have restarted both machines but still no joy. Changed the cable but still the same.
I notice that even without any cable connection between the Tascam and the Macbook the tascam still allows you to connect via USB and display "USB connected". This seems a bit amiss but whether it has anything to do with problem I have no idea. All help and ideas greatly appreciated.
