I see that there is a new release of firmware for the DP24 (not the SD)

The information says:
"V1.19 changes
- It shows "File error" on display during recording and the recording ends in failure sometimes.
This has been fixed."
Has anyone updated and tried this yet? Last time I updated (I think to 1.16 or 1.17) it seemed associated with poorer reliability, and I reverted to 1.15 which I currently run with only the occasional glitch.
I assume good practice would be to full-format the SD card once the fw is updated as well.
(On a broader note... I guess that analogue systems would occasionally go wrong - chew up tape or whatever? - so perhaps it's best to be stoical about glitches if they are once-in-a-blue moon affairs... different systems have different vulnerabilities I suppose.)
