DR 05x...can you transfer a a song with the reverb effect?

Just got it and noodling around I recorded Asturias. I added the reverb to it and it reminded me of the sound Segovia got on a you tube video at the Alhambra. As a Rock player I plenty pleased. So transfered it to my laoptop share it to my page and there was NO reverb. Thus the magic was gone. Is there any way to make the reverb part of the file or is it just a monitoring only effect.

I don't own one of these - so I can't say for sure. You'll have to test it.

Check out page 49 of the reference manual.

It says this:

This unit has built-in effects. Effects can be applied to the input signal during recording and practice as well as to the signal during playback. When an effect is on, the icon appears as light letters on a dark background ( ) at the top of the Home Screen.

And this:

SOURCE Use this to set whether the effect is applied to the input signal (INPUT) or the output signal (MONITOR). (Default: MONITOR)

It seems that you may be able to "print" the effects when actually recording in real time - but only monitor the effect in playback mode. It's not crystal clear - but test it and see what happens.
