DR-05X monitor while using USB audio interface

so I've had my DR-05X for about a month now after using someone else's for about a year and love it. I've mainly been using it as a USB audio interface to capture the output of an analog mixing board. It does what it does very well. the problem is when I'm using it as an audio interface, the only way I've found to hear the input is to use a software like Voicemeeter to redirect the input through the output. does anybody know of a way that I can enable a "Monitor" though the headphone jack while using USB Audio Interface mode?

nevermind, answered my own question. pressing menu while in the USB audio interface mode and changing the monitor mode to direct allows you to hear both the PC audio and the incoming MIC audio.
