Dr-07x Usage

I recently bought the Dr-07x to record voiceover and I would like to know if I can use the Dr-07x as a microphone for livestreaming. I've tried plugging the tascam via USB but my macbook does not recognize it as a microphone. What do I need to do to use the tascam as a microphone on my macbook?

I looked at it but my macbook still does not recognize my tascam. I've used many usb cables and it does not seem like that's the problem

So the question is, did you turn on USB interface mode?

Yes, I did. When I plugged my tascam in, it prompted the menu for "USB CONNECT". I followed everything from the user manual(like clicking on "Audio I/F" and made sure that it was connected to PC/Mac. The USB AUDIO IF screen does pop up though.

The next step would be to troubleshoot the Mac end of the chain.

How would I do that?

I am not a Mac person, sorry. But if possible, I'd first verify that it's working on a Windows PC.
