DR-100 unable to charge Battery

I just bought a DR-100, and purchased the battery and the ac-power separately. I am unable to charge it - even after several hours the battery is empty, and the red charging light never comes on. Anyone has an idea how to fix this?

Silvia, did you sort this out? I had a similar issue with several DR100 MK3's i recently purchased. Following the documentation guidelines alone did not work. I had to download and install the newest version of firmware to get the internal lithium batteries charging correctly.
