DR 40 Battery life

Hi all,

I used my DR 40 again last night and the batteries ran out very quickly....under 2 hours. Is this normal or should I be using a specific type of battery? I'd be expecting to get at least 5 hours of battery life when using the device.

All advice appreciated.

Weird, my battery last forever, I don't use it too much but I have the same battery for about 6 months. 5 Hours is nothing. I recommend good batteries like Duracell Alcaline.

I think I used rubbish batteries the last time and that is why they ran out fast. The maxwell batteries I got with the DR 40 probably lasted 6-7 hours.
