I hope you can help. Can you advise the best settings to use on the DR40 when recording dj mixes. I have a cable (rca to 1/4" jack) from my mixer (using booth out to control the levels) to the inputs of the DR40.
From the tests I've done so far I have noticed the recordings to be very quiet when listening back in itunes. However, If I listen to the same file in the DR40 with my headphones then the recording sounds loud and clear.
I'm guessing I have the settings set up wrong.
