DR-44WL loses a song

I have just received my DR-44WL and am playing around with multitrack mode. I spent the last hour recording 4 tracks of audio. When attempting to rename the song, I received an error. And, now all my work is gone. Under song listings it now says NO CARD and shows no files. Seriously annoyed that the device would erase everything.

Any ideas, dear community?

You could try to reseat the card, or try to recover what was (and could still be) on it by putting it into a computer directly.. Did you fully format the card before starting recording?
