So I've got a DR-70D with all four channels recording in MIX mode. The last couple of days, right in the middle of recording, the audio signal just goes blank. No audio on any channel. The unit stays powered on--it simply stops recording any audio on any track. The meters will be showing audio, recording normally ... and then all of a sudden they just drop off to nothing.
What's really weird is that if I just push one button--if I start recording, or if it happens WHILE I'm recording, and I hit stop ... or if I just hit the menu button and then hit it again to go back to the meters--suddenly it starts to work again. Really, really odd. Then, a couple minutes later, it drops out again.
Has anyone dealt with this?
