Fw-1884 set up

Hi all
Iv'e just purchased a fw-1884 and haven't a clue how to connect it to my pc and also what I need to do this
If some kind person could talk me through it step by step I would be very grateful.

I have been using a sx-1 for the last 12 months and this works fine, but the fw-1884 is a different ball game to me

Graham,
Not having any luck locating the XP tutorial.
I do have a couple of XP computers I use with my embroidery machines.
One has a FW port, but might not be the TI chip.
I still have an old TI board I think will fit.
IF I get some time I might get it hooked up to one of the 1884's.
Not making any promises.
