GB Storage Capacity,,,?

G'day all,,, How many GB's is necessary for, let's say, 4 minutes of fully tracked data on the Model 16, at the highest rez,, if selectable? What is the general formula, assuming there is one?

Around 450 MB including 13/14 (which note doesn’t have a pre amp... only takes line signal). Eg figure half a GB to be safe.

So in theory 64Gb card is about 128 songs

However I heard (but not validated) it’s best not to fill the cards up to the max. So I stop at about 80% full card.

The math:
Sample rate X bit depth gives you bits/sec for a mono track.
Example: 48,000 X 24 = 1,152,000 bits = 144,000 Bytes (/8) = 140.6 kB (/1024)
This is X 60 for one minute: 140.6 x 60 = 8,437 kB = 8.24 MB (/1024)

For your example: 14 tracks x 4 minutes x 8.24 MB = 461.4 MB
