I have the Tascam Celesonic US-20x20. When I have the unit in "Audio interface" mode to record using Reaper, I've noticed that when I use the compressor in the Tascam Settings Panel, the compressed signal is being recorded into Reaper. I want to use the compressor in the Tascam Settings Panel for monitoring only, and have the dry/uncompressed signal recorded into Reaper.
Is this possible? I feel like I've tried everything I can think of in the settings panel to no avail.
If I use the Reverb in Tascam Settings Panel, the wet signal is not being recorded, so all I get is the dry signal in Reaper. So I feel like this should be possible with the compressor, but maybe I'm wrong.
Any help would be appreciated!
