Having trouble with the PHYSICAL routing for the AN/DM card

So I can rout the inputs from the card into my DAW (logic) no problemo (by routing them INPUT BYPASS as my last 8 channels on the IF/FW card in OUTPUT SLOT.....M/L 1-24, SLOT 2 1-8 = 32)

but when it comes to choosing WHICH outputs to choose from the 32 in the I/O assignments in logic, what does?

I'm asking because I'd like to use them as my send and returns for outboard gear. Easy peasy to choose which INPUT to tell logic to bring the effect back IN from....but I don't know what to tell it to send it OUT on.

Routing Slot 2 1-8 (AN/DM) in my OUTPUT SLOT screen as SLOT 1 25-32 (IF/FW) isn't doing it.

I do this using busses.
In from computer using the IF/FW to specific channels.
Then buss those channels to the AN/DM cards via the busses.
Once the audio hits the outboard I bring it back to the line inputs.. I don't use the AN/DM returns.
