I suppose this may be a routing question of some sort, but I've got brain fry trying to figure this out. Basically, what I'd like to accomplish is to be able to mix individual cue mixes (or at least 2 - Aux 1&2) off of the Remote Layer Channels. I want to send separate cue mixes off the Remote Layer faders that are coming from my DAW. I use Sonar X2, but it is really more of a DM-4800 question as to how can you use Aux sends on the Remote Layer?
I'm not sure if it's impossible or a special encoder or routing setup is required. Can't believe it's not possible. While in the Remote Layer, the "Select" button doesn't follow the Remote Layer Channels and the Aux Sends don't follow the Remote Channels either. When doing overdubs, people will always want to have a custom mix of tracks vs what the control room is monitoring.
Anyway, any help would be appreciated.
