Hello!
I'm Adam, a 41 year old guitarist/bassist/drummer from Cleveland, Ohio.
I started out on the most basic cassette 4-track Portastudio in the early 1990's, and had moved to the latest 8 track (488, i think? the big tan one) Portastudio by the end of the 1990's.
I didn't have anything to record on from the early 2000's until a month ago when i bought the new DP 24SD. Still learning how to use it but I love it. I never got into computer based rcording, and this unit feels like my old cassette Portastudio but has some digital editing capabilities. SD cards are a fraction of the size of cassettes. I also have a recordable CD player, not sure of the model number, but I've had it forever.
I hope to get good enough n this new unit to make my next CD fully in my basement.
