Hiccuping audio on 488 portastudio

Hi, I'm having using with my 488, I'm recording drums and every so often the kick drum and only the kick will kind of hiccup. The tracks are record to a click. It's not like the track goes of time for a second and returns. Which I know can happen. All of the drums are well below +6 db. I was wondering if anyone out there knew about this and or how to fix it?

I can include an audio file if there's anyone out there?
