How to switch freq DA78HR

Do you remember how to switch frequency from 44.1 to 48 on the DA78HR? For playback that is, not for formatting tapes...
This escapes me

The Da78hr will switch to the correct sample freq. when the tape is loaded. the playback sample rate cannot be changed.

The thing is I have a tape with a recorded 1k tone plying back at 932KHz...

Are you running it stand alone? Not locked to ext.word clock or have it set to lock to ext. word clock? Can you duplicate it with a different tape?

Stand alone, analog out RCA to TRS

Does it do it on every tape,or just that one? If it does it on every tape. it could be a calibration issue- not being able to read the sub -code area of the tape correctly- to a component failure, not letting the machine switch to the tape Fs.

Only that one tape, marked as 24/96...
All other tapes play correctly afaik

The Da-78HR does not recognize 96KHZ Fs tapes. Only the Da-98Hr and DSD-98 does.
