About this time in 2005 I bought my 2488. This week I finally retired it, the buttons have become almost unusable and the cd unit can't decide from one minute to the next if it likes the disc in it. So I managed to just get everything off it I want, and I'm going to unplug it from the temple of recording probably tomorrow. I'm from the last TASCAM forums, Dr. Who and Doubles Home Guide that I still use, all that stuff.
DP32SD should be here tomorrow or Monday. I expect I'll mostly read what you guys do, you probably all use them better than I do, you certainly do more things with them than I. I just record, don't do much editing, very little outboard stuff, I pretty much record the sounds I want and don't much mess with them outside pan and fade. I play everything, and I use a BOSS DR-880 for the drums.
That's about it.
