I think I'm out of luck asking but what the hell.
I just acquired my DM4800/IFFWDMMKII and I'm trying to figure out which firewire adapter to use to connect my Win7(64bit) laptop. Problem is my laptop(HP Envy17) has no firewire or expresscard ports, only USB2 & 3 ports. I've read USB to firewire adapters do not work. Any idea? I REALLY cant afford another laptop! :shock:
