IF-FW/DMMKII-My kingdom for a driver for M1 Max

Is there no DM4800/3200 enthusiast out there who is also a developer/code enthusiast? I am sure there are more out there like me who are coding zeros. I'm sure even more in the next year or so as we look to upgrade. We could somehow make it worth your while if you're up to the task. It seems a shame to say goodbye to my DM4800 for lack of a driver. My new 16" MacBook Pro M1 Max will recognize the mixer but without a driver she's a dead soldier. I was hoping at some point I could retire my 2008 Mac Pro for several reasons.

I talked to Tascam about this and they are sympathetic, but will not write new drivers for a discontinued mixer.
I do want to update to an M1 Mac, but am stuck until somebody writes a driver for the audio card. Seems a shame.
RME has done this for some of their old firewire cards.
It can be done.
Who can do it?

If you are in touch with them ask them if they would be willing to turn over the driver code to the community.

Bump, I would like to keep this near the top in case anyone makes a breakthrough in getting the drivers working on Apple Silicon.
