LCD screen-moisture sensitive ?

Hi guys, this is my first post here and I wanted to share my expirience regarding screen issue. I' ve bought dm 3200 7 years ago and had problem with lines appearing more and more each day. At the time I had excessive moisture in my studio so I went and bought dehumidifier. Well the LCD lines, they disappeared after few days. I dont have problem with lines anymore and when they do show up I just use dehumidifier. Is this isolated case or DM screens are really moisture sensitive ?

Interesting. I never made the connection, but can you tell us more about what relative humidity levels we're talking? In my place it's usually somewhere between 40% - 65% - and yes, lines are increasing unfortunately..

I've never measured humidity, but it has been above some normal values.

OK. Anyone else that can share if they had made the humidity - screen lines connection? I'm usually not concerned with 40-65%, but if decreasing humidity can help reduce the lines appearing it would be something to consider.
