I had a question regarding this product,
I plan to mic drums for recording , also mic speaker cabs, I recently purchased a berhringer Xenyx 12002fx mix board, the thing is the Tascam recorder already has two xlr inputs , I can see the advantage of have extra eq options before sending to record and can see it being useful if I had multiple mics , however if I were to mic drums or guitar with only one or two mics , what lining technique would be more successful , lining into mixer then to recorder , or straight to the recorders xlr inputs , the mixer I have has xlr inputs , but the output to the recorder would go through a stereo cable (red and white) with 1/4” jack on the recorder end ,
