Logic Pro - Stop Plugin Windows From Opening When Selecting Channel Stip

Greets:
Is there a way that when a channel strip is selected in Logic Pro via the XT1 controls, that it doesn't automatically launch the plugin window? In Mixer mode on screen, when a plugin window opens, it hides over a bunch of channel strips and I can't see what is the active channel strip being selected. I have low vision issues, so when my screen is magnified close, this issue of the plugin window blocking my view is more apparent.
