Maxing out DM 3200

Hi.
Just got one and I'm kind of new to the ta scam stuff.
What do I need in terms of mods/add ons/gear to have all 32 channels available on the desk?

It only comes with the 16 mic inputs but I'm wanting to maximize my potential.

If you are looking to add more mic pres, you can add 8 or 16 outboard pres with (1 or 2) IF-AN/DM cards and accociated wiring, assuming your slots aren't populated already. Do you want to run the board with a DAW?

For a DM3200, I would get the Firewire card, the Analog Card and the 2SeeMy VGA solution.

I'm thinking of running an m audio octane I to it then out to a pro fire 2626 then into my computer

I don't know these octane and pro fire boxes, but the Tascam IF-FW mkII firewire card gives you 32 channels in and out to the PC at 96 kHz. Highly recommended.

+1 to what he said/what I said. Any other way, you're taking the long way home IMO.
