midi question

hello, i have some wierd thing going on with my dm 4800. I got a m-audio midi keyboard some time ago, and when i use it with a vst instrument in cubase and klick on arm rec button i can play with my dm to, the same sounds i select.
i might go to studio today to take a screenshot of the setup. but for now here is a video :

This is not wierd at all. Perfectly normal. DM's REMOTE layer is a MIDI device and sends MIDI messages. If you select it as a input for your VST instrument, you can play your instrument with it.

Solution: DON'T use 'All MIDI inputs' as an input of your Instrument/MIDi track in Cubase. Or at least disable DM's control ports (1, 4, 5, 6 & 7) from being included in 'All MIDI Inputs'.
