Model 12 Audio in problem

The computer recognizes the Model 12 as the as Audio and microphone. On the MPC beats software it recognizes the tascam as audio in and audio out even the channels but the Model 12 is not receiving a signal. Nothing is muted, the switch is on pc. Can't figure out what the problem is.

check to make sure that the sample and bit rates (I usually do 44KHz and 24bit) are all the same between Windows Mic and Speaker settings, your current Tascam file, and the DAW. This was a common issue I had upon first getting it. Any issue I had with audio not coming out had to do with the sample+bit rate being changed automatically by programs. Id also suggest disabling all other speaker and mic sources through windows if you can
