I am really enjoying using this as a Daw controller in Reaper, but I have a question. It says in the DAW control manual about re-setting the faders and such so they are in sync:
Does that basically mean that I should go into the DAW first and center everything, set everything at unity? It also says in that blurb, "Model 12 buttons,knobs and faders to match the DAW settings."
It's a real pain to have to re-center everything in the DAW when I already have it where I like it (and to have to do this every time I use the DAW controller, which is going to have different fader positions every time I use it). How do I match the buttons, knobs and faders to the DAW like it says, instead of having to match the DAW to the Tascam? I watched one of the tutorial videos and they guy suggested turning on automation, which is even more of a pain. Is there a way to set jump/catch for the faders?
