Model 12 with Ipad Air

I don't have the model 12 yet but this may influence my decision (over the Zoom L12).

Would I be able to connect the Model 12 to an Ipad Air (2021 model with USB C), connect a midi keyboard to the Model 12 and have the ipad audio coming out the model 12?

So basically to use the ipad garageband keyboard sounds and output them to external sources?

Looking at this previously, as the ipad air has no headphone output it gets complicated getting midi in and audio out, so hoping the model 12 could be a simple solution.

I've mentioned this before elsewhere, but on GearSpace, there is a thread about the Model 16 where a poster describes getting his to work with his iPad. The M12 is a different beast, but perhaps it will help to lead you in the proper direction?
