Model 16 - channel/fader not working

Hey guys.

had my model 16 for about 18 months now.

randomly my “channel 3” has stopped working.

I get audio input when PFL is engaged so it’s not the jack connection. All’s fine with audio input.

but as soon as PFL is disengaged, there’s no audio through the fader. So I’m guessing somethings gone wrong somewhere.

anyone got any experience in what this could be? And advice on self repair? Haven’t opened it up yet to see the guts!!

Hmmm

does it matter if it’s a “live” input via the jacks or a prerecorded track from the MTR or via USB?

did you try sending that track out Aux 1 or 2?

main send button fully depressed?

the answers might help diagnose the situation….
