Monitor input sensitivity

Hello everybody,

I'm new at this forum so forgive me if I'm not aware of any etiquette. I have however a question regarding my recently purchased Tascam DP32 SD. With it I have a set of Dynaudio BM6A mark II monitors with three input settings knowing nominal, -10db and +4db. I can't seem to find in either of the manuals what position I should use with my Tascam.
Can anyone tell or rather explain to me what position I should use?

Welcome to the forum. The Level Diagram and the Specifications page in your owner's manual both show the output levels for the stereo and monitor outputs. You just need to match those to the specs of your speakers.

I'm going to check the manuals again and try to make sense of the chapter with the technical lingo that I'm not remotely grasping.
Maybe finally I'll learn to understand more about my equipment than just how to turn it on...
