New firmware update available for dp24sd and dp32sd

How do you revert back to an older version on the Dp24. I installed V1.22 now my cd burner doesnt work
Exactly the same way you update to a new version. You download the file and install it on the SD card and go through the process.

@crasher4158 Firmware 1.22 and 1.21 are here:
It seems unlikely that 1.22 has a problem as others would have spotted it by now, so I would suspect either the file has been corrupted and/or not installed properly, or there's another fault.
Did the upgrade appear to work ok?
Does the power-on screen confirm the new version has been installed?
If not, did you definitely unzip the download package correctly and copy just the firmware file DP-24_089.122 to the sd-card? You could try downloading the package again.
If this has no effect, what exactly are the CD fault symptoms? e.g.
Does the CD button work? Maybe it's just become intermittent, as other buttons sometimes do over time.
Have you tried another CD in the drive?
Either way, keep us posted.

Noteworthy is the fact that this thread is about the SD versions of the digital PortaStudios. Those would be the ones that do not have the onboard CD burner. Installing the wrong series firmware will have unpredictable results.

The CD player shows its working on powerup but no access to the CD Menu. Tks

@crasher4158, you had better check to see that you installed the correct version for your device. The machines that have the CD burner are not compatible with the ones that don’t.

Ok tks for the tip on copying firmware directly to the SD card. Makes the process much easier.

Tks for your help finding the firmware, was able to revert back to V1.21 but with same result. My machine had like V1.10 before upgrading to V1.22
