reading details of audio specs, they seem to align to the all-digital Model 12 for things like preamp gain and S/N ... so it’s not bad stuff under the hood, and probably shares some circuit DNA across the devices?

Among other things, this can function as 14 in/2 out audio interface...

Relies on custom Bundled software to edit, mix and stream...no DAW needed.

mixcast 4, there are problems with "ducking"
even with microphone 1 off, slider down or muted
the music fades, speaking with the microphone off

You should report that to Tascam ASAP. Provide as much detail as you can, so they can reproduce the fault.
