New to Forum

[DED33]

Greetings, I am a retired geezer that has been having a blast learning about recording/mixing. Two of my friends and I have been playing, mostly original instrumentals, for almost 50 years. We now all have DP32's so that we may exchange tracks and songs (we live in different parts of the country).
Not sure I would have chosen the DP32 if had not been for discovering the Phil Tipping tutorials. Many thanks to Phil and several others on this forum that share their professional experience with folks like me, struggling to learn.
Putting together my humble studio, trying to learn which equipment to add to the collection. So far-

Tascam CD RW900 Recorder
Eliminator E-107 switched power rack
Mackie HM-400 4-channel Headphone Amplifier

SE X1S Mic
I will continue to devour the forum and hope to learn recording concepts as well as what equipment additions I might benefit from. Thanks to all that keep this forum going!

Welcome to the forum. You've probably already seen the sticky posts at the start of the forum, but if not, these contain a wealth of info from members collated from posts & discussions over the years, so well worth a look. Good luck with your 'distanced' band; that's the only way to do it nowadays
