Normalize and slider questions - DP03SD

I am using the dp03sd for podcasting.

1. Does it normalize tof a specific loudness standard? I can't find that in the specs.

2. Is there Any way when recording in multitrack to use the slider to lower the volume of one of the tracks? I have tried but I always need to repeat the process in mix down mode. I am just looking to talk over music during the intro and wish to minimize my post production.

I think you're referring to "automation" -- or the feature of some multitrack mixing boards to remember when/where you adjust volume, EQ, etc. and "play it back" with the song. The DP-03SD does not have automation.
