That's just great! The guy's not only technically gifted, but boasts a very refreshing attitude relative to his gear choices and workflow. And his analog approach - building so much from scratch - is intense!

I can also relate, having gotten a 1948 Brush Sound mirror tape machine (that ran PAPER/black OXIDE tape) when I was about 11 years old. Changed my life.
