Output Assign buttons

I have been trying to figure out why all eight channels light up in the output assign buttons on the left side of the DM-3200. I am trying to assign 1 for 1 with the channels 1-16. What am i doing wrong?

By 'output assign' buttons, do you mean the BUS selection bank? If so, there are 16. If any/all are lit, it means you've deliberately (or inadvertently) assigned channel modules to those busses.

There are two ways to figure out what you did. The first way is to hit the Routing/Bus screen and look at the display; it'll show you what faders/modules are assigned to busses. Then, you can 'globally' disable ALL those assignments by hitting the Disable ALL option. Another way:....................

Starting with Fader #1, SELect each module, look at that bus bank. If any lights are on, simply hit the adjacent button and DEselect that buss assignment. Repeat for the remaining modules. Takes a little more time than Method #1, but sitting there scratching your head doing nothing takes longer.
