PAN TASCAM FW1884 ("only from computor?")

Maybe i was thinking wrong and there is no way to DOWNMIX channels on the actual device using pan and volume?

It does listening "playing something over analog in" it only send mono "OUT" to monitor and "MAIN"?
Could i pan to main?
Or must the actual pan must be done on computer but controlled from TASCAM, and also volume settings?

But i listening over the WDM drivers in stereo using it as soundcard?

Surely there must be someone here who knows if the 8 analog in can be panned out thru main,
without any computer attached.

Using ASIO I guess they could/must otherwise you cannot monitor what you record in stereo...
Of course i have a computer and DAW but why start it everytime i play.

A simple yes or no suffice.

I think i skipped thru problem by using VoiceMeter from Audio DB ASIO driver, it shows up as an output device in windows.

But i would need someone to give me example of the midimessage sent to pan on a midichannel.
Ch 1 max left right
Ch 8 max leff right

And why not Volume messages
Ch1 off full
Ch8 off full

Anyone have a DAW that show hex messages sent?

Well after chosing record for bus 7-8 in stereo using Cubase i now have the channels pan R L over ASIO.
Just need to monitor what signals that is sent, to make it so.
