have been using the TASCAM DR-60D for wedding videos. I often have troubles plugging into the DJ boards which often seem to be peaking at the source. I am also confused how sometimes the line signal sounds better and sometimes choosing mic is best. Sometimes I cannot get the line signal to reach the 2/3rds mark on the TASCAM.
I wish to capture better audio but it can sound muffled and distorted.
