Problem with mixer channel volume

Hi everyone, I just received my model 16 which I purchased off of Amazon from an authorized dealer.

I’m having some trouble with the sound on channel 1 of when using it as a mixer. When a microphone is plugged in the output volume is much lower for this one channel than any of the other channels.

Intermittently it comes back to full volume but most of the time it’s significantly quieter. The instrument input is not having this problem…just the microphone.

Obvious question, but have you ruled the mic/cable being at fault? (Does it work fine in other channels or units?)

Yes good thought. I tested w/ different cable, mic, and channel combos. Same results.
