PSU for RC-2424

Hi all.

New here and sorry to introduce myself with a 'wanted' post but I have an RC-2424 remote that I'd like to use but I don't have the power supply. Can anyone please recommend a place to source one or a suitable alternative? I'm in the UK.

Hello and welcome to the forum. The remote looks like it takes a DIN connector with +5V DC. If you can look at the schematic and the pinout of the remote connector, it would be easy to put a DIN connector on a 5 volt power supply. The Service Manual should tell the power draw so you can determine how many watts are required.

I did this with a generic supply from CPC. It's easy the connections to the DIN plug are detailed on the back of the RC2424. I don't know the supply voltage off hand but that may be written on the back of the RC. The manual says it's a 2A supply though.
