Do you know if you can record Bass through your bass amp head (direct out) into the recorder?

Does your amp have a recording (line) out, or are you talking about running the speaker output to your recorder?

Yes it has a line out. No I don't want to use it as a speaker out. Want to know if I can just use the head as a direct line into the recorder.

Sure. Any line level output is fine.
