I'm not a drummer, (not by a long shot) but I'm trying to record a kick drum for a track I'm recording. Can you give me any tips on how I'd set the eq for this? I'm using a dynamic mic on a boom stand with the mic just through the hole in the front of the drum.
As I've not really played drums before I don't have a clue!
