I have had an intermittent issue with recording, and last night, I think I found the answer.
Problem is that a recorded track is not there. After recording it, it would not play back.
Last night, I think I found the answer...
I was recording a vocal track, pressed play to exit record, and rewound to try a part again. My new vocal track did not play. The answer is that the transport must be STOPPED for the new recording to "print." If one goes directly from record to play to rewind, or does not give enough time in stop for the recording to complete, it will be there but not play back.
Stopping and waiting for the recording to print will allow it to play back properly if done soon after. Otherwise, pressing the save button will print the recording.
This may not be a revelation to the rest of you, but it was to me.
