What is missing? Here are just a few possibilities:

1. You didn't push the STEREO BUTTON (upper left side of console). This assigns audio to the monitoring circuit so you can hear stuff.

2. Improper/incomplete Routing. Check your Input (M/L1), ensuring it's assigned to a fader module. Also, check ProTools; did you assign the right input/output there?

3. You ruined your dynamic mike because phantom power is only used with powered mikes (condensers, etc). (I'm kidding; that shouldn't have happened. Hopefully. :))

4. Maybe you didn't install the IF-FW-DM drivers correctly.

If after performing the previous steps and nothing audible results, you'll need to send us some TMC screen shots so we can trouble shoot. Also, I suggest reading this: DM Routing 'Zen'.

I can hear the sound now coming back via head phones
Looks like the setting of output slot was not correct
I changed it to Buss/Direct (it was input bypass before )
Now I have more questions - but they are ProTools..

Thank you CaptDan, for responding to my post
