I worked these out in 2018 & 2019 to help develop my contributions to the DP-24/32/SD "Production Tips" and "Equipment Tips" sticky threads (pinned in the shaded section of the 2488 and DP-24/32 Digital Portastudios forum).

Various Tips represented in these songs include: adding analog sound; creating separate effects tracks; interfacing outboard gear; using space, depth and dimension; using multi-band compression; using dynamic effects; and master recording volume levels.

Wow! You did these on a DP-24? Being the huge Beatles fan that I am, I listened to "Norwegian Wood", specifically.

That's the kind of mix I strive for... lots of depth, separated instruments, etc....

@Bourbon_In_Burbank there is a sticky topic on production techniques specific to the DP series. Some of those techniques are going to open your eyes about what can be done with it. It's about spending time up front and engineering your recordings. I'm positive you'll be hooking up those concepts right away.
