Anyone know why I'm suddenly getting this error every time I load Pro Tools? Now I can't use the remote layer to control pro tools. I've looked at the settings under peripherals in PT and on the DM but can't see anything out of line.
If the USB connection became disconnected, came lose, or connector is stressed would be one reason. Load a DM project or connect USB while PT is open would be another. PT is fickle DAW in general. Reboot computer and try again.
Well I didn't believe it but that actually worked. I shut everything down, replaced the usb cable, reseated it in both the mac and mxier and then rebooted and everything worked.
